Xiaomi’s new India specific RedmiBook Windows 10 laptop to be released in June


Xiaomi hints it will launch the newer RedmiBook Windows 10 laptop in India next month

Xiaomi already has it’s laptop line called the Mi Notebook Air, running on Windows 10 in for sale in China. The Mi Notebook Air was launched in 2016 in two versions, the bigger 13.3-inch, and the 12.5-inch laptop. The top-spec Mi Notebook Air was available for CNY 4,999 (approx Rs 53,000) in China and the latest top Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air model available in China is RedmiBook 14. Now Xiaomi is ready to launch a similar Air Notebook Windows 10 laptop specifically made for India.

The Chinese tech-company has teased on social media that its Mi Notebooks will soon be launched in India. However, no other details have been revealed by the company. Xiaomi today tweeted, β€œHey there @Dell_IN, @Acer_India, @HPIndia, @Lenovo_in, @ASUSIndia. We guess it’s time to say, Hello!”

While yesterday, Xiaomi India’s managing director Manu Kumar Jain put out a video on the micro-blogging site, dropping a hint about the launch of Mi’s new products.

Xiaomi RedmiBook 14 i7 specifications

RedmiBook 14 comes with the following features:

  • 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8265U or i7-8565U processor, Quad-Core 1.6GHz, up to 1.8GHz.
  • GeForce MX250 discrete graphics
  • All-metal body
  • 14-inch Full HD display with 1920×1080 pixel display.
  • 8GB DDR4 2400MHz RAM, and 256GB/512GB SATA SSD Storage Capacity.
  • Windows 10 Home operating system.
  • 46W Battery Support 1C Fast Charge

The RedmiBook 14 is available for sale in international markets for $699′(Rs.53,000). It is believed that Xiaomi will be launching a similar version for India though it will be priced sub-Rs.40,000.00 to meet the price barrier in India. It is believed that the Xiaomi’s India specific Windows 10 laptop will be released in June 2020.
