Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5
Google had lately launched the Pixel 4a and said that it will launch the 5G model of the gadget and the flagship Pixel 5. The $349 (roughly Rs. 26,300) Pixel 4a is predicted to reach in October in India, the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 will not be launching within the nation.
Google did not reveal when its 5G-enabled phones will be launched, but thanks to Google France. The official blog post announcing the Pixel 4a had a mention of the pre-order dates for the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5, with both devices set to be up for pre-order from October 8. Which was later removed by the company. The new Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 are expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G chipset. There have been multiple reports asserting the fact that Google will not use a flagship chipset for the Pixel 5.
Google Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 Android smartphones are rumored to be featured with a 5.8-inch FHD+ OLED Punch Hole(1080×2340, 443ppi, HDR) with 60Hz of refresh rate. The Android Smartphones will be powered by Snapdragon 765G (Octa-core, 2.2GHz + 1.8GHz) and Adreno 618 GPU. The Google Pixel 4a has launched with 6GB LPDDR4x and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage, so the same will be the 5G model and Pixel 5 may come with 8GB of RAM. Other specs of the smartphones are not yet revealed.
Samsung Galaxy Note20 series
The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 will have a whopping 120Hz display and a Snapdragon 865 processor and/or Exynos 992. In terms of storage, there’s a chance the top Note would come with 512GB, while the memory is likely to receive an upgrade too to 16GB on the high-end configurations. The prices look quite expensive especially during these depressing times but Samsung hopes that Apple would be pricing it’s iPhone 12 in a similar price range.
The smartphones will go for sale on pre-order on August 21. The Galaxy Note20 is likely to begin at $999 for the base model, while the Galaxy Note20 Ultra would come with a $1,299 starting price tag.
Apple iPhone 12 Series
Apple is expected to unveil four different iPhones this year, as it follows:
- iPhone 12 with a 5.4-inch screen
- iPhone 12 with a 6.1-inch screen (successor to iPhone 11)
- iPhone 12 Pro with a 6.1-inch screen (successor to iPhone 11 Pro)
- iPhone 12 Pro Max with a 6.7-inch screen (successor to iPhone 11 Pro Max)
According to the new details, both the iPhone 12 Pro and the iPhone 12 Pro Max could feature 6GB of RAM, whereas the other two models would stick with 4GB RAM. The launch of the new iPhones must be revealed soon, as per some calculations according to the past 5 iPhone launches it may happen in September.
Rumors suggest Apple will use 5-nanometer A14 chips in its 2020 iPhone lineup that will be smaller, faster, and more battery efficient due to improved thermal management. The iPhone 12 series all models will have 5G support, and sport 3 rear cameras.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2
Samsung’s galaxy Z Fold 2 is featured with a full-size 6.2-inch screen to make it more usable that covers the entire front of the smartphone. The main unfolds to flaunt the massive 7.6-inch Infinity-O main display inside with an OLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 Plus processor. Samsung has reduced the gap between the screens and made it thinner overall than the Fold, but it still uses foldable glass. It’s got a new hinge too and improved dust elimination. Samsung is also bringing its “Flex Mode” from the Z Flip, allowing the Z Fold 2 to be used in halfway-open configurations and stood up on a desk.
The processor is paired with Adreno 650 GPU for graphics and comes with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB internal storage. There is a 4,500 mAh battery with 25W fast charging, 11W fast charging, and reverse wireless charging support. As far as the cameras are concerned, there is a triple-camera system on the back with a 12MP sensor at the helm. The other camera sensors include a 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 12MP f/2.4 telephoto lens.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 will come in both “mystic black” and “mystic bronze” colors, along with a limited edition Thom Browne edition. Samsung isn’t announcing a release date or price for the Galaxy Z Fold 2.
