Sony PlayStation 5 price spotted on Amazon’s French website
The PlayStation 5 (PS5) is an upcoming home video game console developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Announced in 2019 as the successor to the PlayStation 4, it is scheduled to launch in late 2020. The platform is anticipated to launch in two varieties, as a base PlayStation 5 system incorporating a Blu-ray compatible optical disc drive for retail game support alongside digital distribution via the PlayStation Store, and a lower-cost Digital variant lacking the disc drive while retaining digital download support.
A week ago we saw Amazon UK had listed Sony’s PlayStation 5 gaming console for £599.99 ($760) and then said it as an error. But according to this new leak by a concept designer and tech content creator Ben Geskin, it states that the price of the PS5 has a difference of 100 Euros. Ben leaked the upcoming Sony PlayStation 5 price that was spotted on Amazon’s French website, listing the standard model at €499 EUR and the “Digital Edition” that lacks a physical disc drive at €399 EUR.

A couple of days ago we also saw an Ex-Xbox marketing lead says PlayStation 5 price won’t be more than $499. As you can see all the rumors around tend to say that the Sony Play Station 5 will be priced around $449-$549. But there is no official statement of the upcoming PS5 model by Sony.
Sony has confirmed it will launch two versions of the system at launch; a digital-only SKU and a regular model featuring a disc drive, hopefully, a price point isn’t too far away. By the time don’t forget to keep an eye out for more PlayStation 5 updates down the road, and meanwhile, check out the chart below for the official list of PS5 specs.
