Somebody just leaked the 5 year old build Dead Island 2 game; download now

Somebody just leaked a five-year-old build of the long-delayed Dead Island 2 and you can play it now

Many of you won’t even remember the original Dead Island game. Dead Island was an action role-playing survival horror video game series published in 2011 by Deep Silver for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and mobile platforms iOS and Android. After its success, Deep Silver had announced a sequel called Dead Island 2 in 2014 but sadly it never came through. Until today that is.

Dead Island 2’s publishing history looks like a soap opera. Deep Silver contracted game developer Techland to work on the DI2 but they left it hanging jumping over to make Dying Light instead. Deep Silver then passed it over to Yager, developers of Spec Ops: The Line. Yager worked on it long enough to make a demo version of the game with EGX. Then Yager and Deep Silver had a big misunderstanding and they split. After that DI2 passed to Sumo Digital, and finally to Dambuster, an internal Deep Silver studio who is currently working on it.

Quite a story. But the story is not finished. Somebody just leaked the version of the Dead Island 2 that Yager was working on and it is perfectly working and playable. Fans of the first Dead Island, caught the unfinished but playable build of Dead Island 2, dated June 2015, image boarding website, 4Chan, and has been making waves on YouTube and Twitter since then.

Here is another video of the Dead Island 2 gameplay:

From the videos, it t certainly looks like Dead Island 2.  The gameplay has weapons that cause fire and electricity damage and have names right out of a JRPG like  Destructive Brain Tangling Handgun Pistol and Roasty Toasty Keen Combat Knife.

The Dead Island 2 playable build is available on this 4Chan board. If you want to download it, you will have to search for it but it’s worth the search because the game is definitely good. Remember, this is just a leaked game version and may have bugs or malware hidden.
