Redmi 9i smartphone launched in India with 5000 mAh battery, MediaTek Helio G25 SoC priced at Rs. 8299
Two weeks earlier the Android Smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi launched an entry-level smartphone Redmi 9A in India which was revealed alongside Redmi 9C in Malaysia in June. The smartphone was launched in India after three months of the global launch. However, the company has now added another model from the Redmi 9 series which is known as Redmi 9i.
Talking about the specification of the Redmi 9i, the smartphone is featured with 6.53-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) display with a 1,500:1 contrast ratio, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and 270 nits peak brightness. The Xiaomi Smartphone runs on MIUI 12, based on Android 10. Redmi 9i comes with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 SoC which is paired with two storage options of which the higher end comes up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB storage.
If you look at the cameras on the back the Redmi 9i Xiaomi Smartphone comes with a single 13MP camera with a bunch of AI-powered features and support for 1080p Full HD video recording at up to 60fps. At the front, the smartphone sports a 5MP selfie camera. The smartphone comes with 64GB and 128GB storage options that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 512GB).
The amazing part of the Redmi 9i Smartphone is that it comes with a large 5,000mAh battery, claimed to provide up to two days of endurance. In addition, the entry-level smartphone supports 10W charging speeds.
As far as the price is concerned the Redmi 9i Smartphone is priced at Rs 8,299 for the 4GB/64GB version and Rs. 9,299 for the 4GB/128GB version. The reports on the web revealed that the smartphone will be available to buy with a sale in India through Mi.com, Mi Home stores, Amazon India, and offline retail partners across the country starting in September itself.
