As you all know Google has released the stable version of the Android 11 last week and OnePlus has also launched OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11 the same day. Now Oppo is also releasing the first beta program for ColorOS 11 which is based on Android 11. The list of eligible devices that will receive the ColorOS 11 update is out. Alongside, Oppo announced a huge piece of news about the release of ColorOS 11.

The company said that the beta program will go live on the 14th of September 2020 at 09:00 A.M. GMT. And yes the event was successful and the company has released the ColorOS 11 based on Android 11. ColorOS 11 includes a new screenshot pop-up, a second-level lock screen, and new gestures. Some sources have confirmed that Oppo users will get new motion gestures and new notification shade UI.

The company has also reveal the timeline for releasing the update along with the list of devices that will get the latest version of Android. Oppo wouldn’t commit to a specific date for when the beta period would end for the initial release devices. However, it did commit to delivering a stable version of Color OS 11 to a handful of its most popular recent phones before the end of 2020. Coming to the features of the new version of the company’s self-made ColorOS, the new ColorOS 11 includes features like Three-finger translation for Screenshot, Gamer mode, Customizable dark mode, Make-your-own always-on display, Make-your-own wallpapers, and ringtones, and various other customizations.

Also, it is expected that ColorOS 11 in the future will come with features such as a Facebook-style bubble interface, easy controls for smart home devices, built-in screen recording, better media controls, and more.
