Nintendo: Citra 3DS Emulator is now available for Free on Android Smartphones

Nintendo is a Japanese consumer electronics and video game company headquartered in Kyoto. Nintendo is one of the world’s largest video game companies by market capitalization, creating some of the best-known and top-selling video game franchises of all-time, such as Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing, and Pokémon.

Citra 3DS emulator is considered the best Nintendo emulator on the desktop. There were many unofficial attempts to add simulator to Android smartphones but did not succeed. Well, now the developers have released an official app of Citra for Android Smartphones. Citra is the first Nintendo 3DS emulator to be launched on the smartphone platform and the most amazing part is that the app is made available for free on the play store.

Citra is a Nintendo 3DS emulator for Android, enabling you to play your favorite 3DS games on your phone! Features include:

  • Compatibility with hundreds of Nintendo 3DS games
  • Enhanced graphics, such as resolution scaling and texture filtering (these optional features work best on high-end devices)
  • Support for various built-in 3DS features, such as the camera, microphone, and motion controls
  • Support for external gamepads

The Citra app does not include any games or copyrighted system files. You are legally required to dump your Nintendo 3DS games to use with Citra. The Citra app is not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Nintendo
