The company yesterday released Windows 10 Cumulative Update KB4566782 as the August 2020 Patch Tuesday cycle. Since it lands as part of a Patch Tuesday cycle, this cumulative update is mostly focused on security improvements.
The August 2020 security release consists of security updates for the following software:

In addition, the company said that the update comes with improved security when using input devices like a mouse, keyboard, or pen, but also with updates for storing and managing files. The update also fixes an issue in Universal Windows Platform (UWP) apps that allows single sign-on authentication when an app does not have the Enterprise Authentication capability.
Microsoft also listed the security updates to the Windows Graphics, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows Kernel, Windows Input and Composition, Windows Media, Windows Shell, the Windows Wallet Service, Windows Cloud Infrastructure, Windows Authentication, the Windows AI Platform, Windows Fundamentals, Windows Storage and Filesystems, Windows Update Stack, Windows File Server and Clustering, Windows Hybrid Storage Services, and Windows SQL components.
The amazing thing about this update is that it fixes almost all the known issues leaving just one back, and it’s not something new that’s specific just to KB4566782. It’s the IDE bug happening in some apps like Microsoft Excel and which only affects Chinese and Japanese users.
