Manjaro has now announced a new version of the open-source Linux distribution based on the Arch Linux operating system. The new version is known as Manjaro 20.1 “Mikah.” Manjaro is a user-friendly Linux distribution based on the independently developed Arch operating system. Developed in Austria, France, and Germany, Manjaro provides all the benefits of the Arch operating system combined with a focus on user-friendliness and accessibility. Available in both 32 and 64-bit versions, Manjaro is suitable for newcomers as well as experienced Linux users.

The Xfce edition remains our flagship offering and has received the attention it deserves. Only a few can claim to offer such a polished, integrated and leading-edge Xfce experience. With this release we ship Xfce 4.14 and have mostly focused on polishing the user experience with the desktop and window manager. Also we have switched to a new theme called Matcha.

A new feature Display-Profiles allows you to store one or more profiles for your preferred display configuration. The company has also implemented an auto-application of profiles when new displays are connected.

Coming to the changelog, The new version 20.1 has updated its default package manager, Pamac, from v9.4 to v9.5. Also, it leads to an enhanced alpm error handling, improved database performance, optimized internal check dep algorithm, and internal search algorithm.
