Infinix Note 8, Note 8i Launched with Quad Rear Cameras and MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, here’s what to know
Infinix has launched Note 8 and Note 8i at a virtual event offering both models with quad rear cameras and powered by MediaTek Helio G80 SoC. With the processor and the cameras, the company has also provided the same hole-punch display to both the models. The difference comes in with Note 8 featuring dual selfie cameras. Coming to the price of the smartphones it was predicted that the Infinix Note 8 will be priced at $200 (roughly Rs. 14,700) and the price for the Note 8i is not yet revealed.
Looking at the specifications of the smartphones it was known that the Infinix Note 8 smartphone is featured with a 6.95-inch HD+ (720×1,640 pixels) IPS display with a 20.5:9 aspect ratio whereas the Note 8i comes with a 6.78-inch HD+ (720×1,640 pixels) IPS display with a 20.5:9 aspect ratio. The company offers octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 SoC for both the models which are coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of Internal Storage.
If you look at the cameras, the Infinix Note 8 and Note 8i smartphones sport a Quad rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an autofocus lens. The camera setup also includes a 2-megapixel macro shooter, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an AI lens. Well, the only change that the company offers is that the superior model(Note 8) comes with dual selfie cameras whereas Note 8i has only a single selfie shooter.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors onboard include an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor. The phone also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Infinix Note 8 packs a 5,200mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
