IIT Delhi Students have now developed DocStack as an alternative for Chinese Cam-scanner

As you all know that the Indian government has banned 59 apps that belonged to the Chinese regime. You must be aware of how heavily the students, teachers, and other companies employees depend on Cam-scanner due to its amazing features. There multiple alternatives on the Play store and apple store that have common features like Cam-scanner.

Now students from the Indian Institutes of Technology(Delhi) have developed a new application DocStack that can replace the work of Cam-scanner. DocStack is a new document scanning and organizing app developed by college students IIT Delhi. The application was launched as an Indian alternative to the Chinese CamScanner app that is currently banned in India.

The app description on iOS App Store reads, “It not solely helps you to take professional high-quality scans on the go, however, the common search characteristic helps you to discover paperwork simply if you want them essentially the most.”

DocStack looks to fill the void left behind by CamScanner, and this app was built in record time by students of the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.

The DocStack app is available on iOS App Store only for now, and as mentioned, it is built by the students of IIT Delhi. The app is free to download, but there is a premium subscription for added features like unlimited document storage and additional security layer of Touch ID or Face ID for document safety.

In the free version, DocStack lets you store up to 30 documents only. Just like CamScanner, you can save digital copies of your bills, visiting cards, medical records, credit card bills, ID proofs, and even your grocery bills in an organized manner. Documents can easily be grouped into customizable folders instead of saving them in the photo library.

Apart from all this, users will be able to search their documents simply through the search bar and the entire information is saved on Cloud safely. It has been reported that the application currently does not have the ability to change the format of the scanned PDF.

However, the DocStack app works fine allowing users with safe log-in choices like Register with Apple can be found. It is said that the photo scanning app was built by the students of IIT-Delhi in just two weeks.
