The Chinese Android Smartphone maker Huawei has brought in an entry-level tablet that comes with a 5,100mAh Battery and MediaTek Octa-Core SoC priced at Rs. 9,999 in India. The tablet made its global debut back in May.

The entry-level tablet offers an 8-inch display that comes with thick bezels on the sides. It was known that the Huawei MatePad T8 tablet is offered in a single RAM and storage option, but offers a choice between LTE and Wi-Fi variant. The tablet is powered by an octa-core CPU and will be sold through Flipkart.

The Huawei MatePad T8 tablet will be available for pre-order starting today until September 14. It is worth knowing that during these 6 days, the LTE variant of the Huawei MatePad T8 will be available at a discounted rate of Rs. 9,999. The Huawei MatePad T8 tablet Wi-Fi only is priced at Rs. 9,999 for the only 2GB + 32GB storage variant, whereas the LTE model with the same storage configuration will retail at Rs. 10,999.

If you look at the specifications the Huawei MatePad T8 tablet runs on EMUI 10.0.1 which is based on Android 10. The entry-level tablet features an 8-inch LCD display with 1280×800 pixels resolution and 189ppi pixel density.

Looking at the processor it is known that the Huawei MatePad T8 tablet is powered by the octa-core MediaTek MT8768 SoC which is coupled with IMG GE8320 GPU and 2GB of RAM. As said earlier the tablet comes with 32GB of onboard storage that can be extended via a microSD card up to 512GB.

The Huawei MatePad T8 tablet sports a single 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel camera for selfies. In terms of battery, the tablet packs a 5,100mAh battery with standard charging and comes with a dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, LTE (optional), GPS/ A-GPS, USB OTG, and a Micro-USB port for charging.
