Google Assistant learning to speak Hindi and 30 more languages


Google Assistant will be able to speak in Hindi by the end of 2018

The world famous Google assured that its digital assistant software will be available in more than 30 languages by the end of the year.Indian users get excited about this Google Assistant’s update. Google Assistant, the artificial intelligence software which is available on its connected speakers, Android smartphones, and other devices, will also include multilingual capacity so families or individuals that speak more than one language can speak naturally.

Google vice president Nick Fox said in the blog post “By the end of the year (Google Assistant) will be available in more than 30 languages (including Hindi, Danish, Indonesian and others), reaching 95% of all eligible Android phones worldwide”

The step aims to help Google, which has been lagging in the market for connected devices against Amazon’s Alexa-powered hardware, ramp up competition in new markets. As Alexa only operates English currently.

The update will bring the Assistant to Danish, Dutch, Hindi, Indonesian, Norwegian, Swedish and Thai on Android phones and iPhones, and more languages on more devices throughout the year.

In every country as Google is the king every user which uses Android Smartphone uses Google Assistant and gets the AI to work on their words.

The update will bring more interest and excitement using the Assistant as it will follow the way you want in your own language.
