Facebook releases its Photo Transfer Tool that allows you to transfer your FB photos to Google photos globally
The social media giant Facebook has been incredible in the COVID-19 situation as the company has managed to increase its share value by about 39%. Facebook has helped users all over the globe as it has launched the messenger rooms for working from home policy. The company recently also launched an amazing security feature that adds an extra layer of security to the user account.
Now Facebook has released its Photo Transfer tool globally that was previously launched in April for the United States and Canada. What is Facebook’s Photo Transfer Tool? FB’s new Photo transfer tool allows you to transfer your Facebook photos to Google Photos directly. The company also said that not only google photo but in future, the tool will also allow other apps that supports data transfer window.
At Facebook, we believe that if you share data with one service, you should be able to move it to another. That’s the principle of data portability, which gives people control and choice while also encouraging innovation. Today, we’re releasing a tool that will enable Facebook users to transfer their Facebook photos and videos directly to other services, starting with Google Photos.

How to transfer FB photos using Photo transfer tool?
- Go to your Facebook information in Facebook settings
- Select “Transfer a copy of Photo or video”
- Enter your Facebook Password
- Choose a destination
- Select confirm Transfer
Done!!! You have successfully transferred a copy of your Facebook photos and videos to your desired destination.
