Apricorn Aegis Secure Key 3NXC comes with 256-bit AES encryption USB Type-C port starting at $59
Apricorn is an American designer and manufacturer of computer storage products, utilities, and accessories. The company’s AEGIS line of external storage is plug-and-play, with necessary drivers residing within and loading upon plugin automatically. They also offer an encryption option. They have many products and even software for computers and laptops.
They are best known for their external and internal products. For example, Apricorn Inc manufactures external hard drives and USB flash drives that require a real-time 256-bit AES-XTS Hardware Encryption and a secured pin. While the company has recently announced the Aegis Secure Key 3NXC which is claimed to be the world’s first USB Type-C pen drive with 256-bit hardware AES encryption.
According to the company, the entry-level variant of the Aegis Secure Key 3NXC is priced at $59 for 4GB of storage. Whereas the high-end 128GB variant is priced at $179.

All Data is encrypted on the fly and the device’s PINs and Data remain encrypted while the drive is at rest. Completely cross-platform compatible and OS agnostic; thrives in Windows, Linux, Mac, Android, Chrome, embedded systems, and equipment possessing a powered USB port and storage file system. All internal componentry is protected from physical tampering with a layer of hardened epoxy, and locked-down firmware brings immunity to malware attacks such as BadUSB.
As a pure hardware solution, the Aegis Secure Key 3NXC works on just about any device with a USB Type-C port, regardless of the operating system. This means that security-oriented users can use a 3NXC with their Windows 10 PC as well as their Android smartphone.
