ZTE Axon 20 5G to be launched as the first smartphone to have an under-display camera
We have now reached an era where new features in technology are introduced in the blink of the eye. For the first time ever a smartphone is going to feature an under-display camera. ZTE Axon 20 5G was recently spotted in a TENAA listing that showed off the design of the phone, along with some specifications. The company tweeted that it will be launching the ZTE Axon 20 5G on September 1.
According to the report, one of the biggest OLED manufacturers in China Visionox is likely to be developing this panel. It was also known that the company has already completed the R&D process of the UD camera solution and it says it will work by optimizing the pixel arrangement around the camera’s lens, although this might be an issue for fans who want a 4K or even 1080p shots.
The reports also say that the smartphone is said to be the first smartphone with an under-screen camera but his technology has been prototyped by other OEMs in the past. While the announcement does not reveal any details about the phone itself, it does confirm that the name of this phone is ZTE Axon 20 5G.
Leaving the selfie camera, ZTE has not revealed any Axon 20 5G’s actual specifications. At the start of this month, the smartphone specifications were leaked by TENAA. The leaked specification says that the smartphone could feature a 6.92-inch display, in terms of the camera a triple rear camera is tipped with a 64MP snapper and a 4,120mAh battery. The smartphone is also predicted to have a 32MP sensor selfie shooter under the display.
